Eva Szigethy, MD, Ph.D.

Eva M. Szigethy, MD, Ph.D., is a professor of psychiatry, pediatrics, and medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, Director of Behavioral Health within the Chief Medical Officer, and consultant to UPMC Health Plan, Behavioral Unit of Digitally Delivered Interventions (BUDDI).  Dr. Szigethy has focused her clinical and research interests on designing integrated medical-psychiatric models of care for patients with chronic disease. She is also helping develop digital tools, behavioral technology, and telemedicine to enhance care delivery for patients across the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) system in her leadership role as Director of Behavioral Health.
