The Leadership Board is forming new teams and task forces, including:
a) Inter-Service Relations — Create social, spiritual and mission activities to bring people from different services and groups together.
b) Fellowship Events — the “let’s have fun” team! Kick-off Sunday planning, 5th Sunday events, movie and game nights, etc.
c) Barnabas Ministry — Care and connection with those who are not able to attend worship due to health and aging.
d) Encouragement Team — Show the staff some love, recognize special events in staff members’ lives, etc.
e) Strategic – Develop a Bethel campus master plan—including the former parsonage, green space, landscape planning and more.
f) Building Use Coordinators and Hospitality — assist in communicating with groups using the building, hosting site visits, welcoming groups, etc.
If you would like to serve as a scripture-reader (liturgist) in worship, please let Pastor Glenn know ASAP. Also let him know if you would like to read at 9am, 11am, or either. Thanks!
Our little children are in need of caring adults and youth while Moms and Dads worship. The Nursery is open at 10:45am for the 11am worship service for children ages birth - 4 years old. Children will be cared for while participating in Christ centered activities, stories, songs, and play. We are in search of additional people to serve on Welcome Teams before and after worship services and during other special programs throughout the year.
Come to the FLC the last Thursday of each month to help prepare, serve, and clean-up for the Free Community Dinner. There will be ample opportunity to mingle with our guests.
