Community Groups

Community Groups (Small Groups)

We believe that authentic community happens in circles, not rows. Community Groups exist to help us live out our mission to be a diverse body of Christ where lives are transformed and disciples made. There is a Community Group for you, no matter your age, faith history, cultural background or stage of life. C Groups meet in homes and at the church and provide a place to connect, grow, study and learn with one another throughout the week. 


Authentic Living

A caring and committed group open to people of any age and background. The group reviews current news events and scripture to drive discussion of living in today's world with guidance and grace from God.

Cross Talk

This group is made up of people from various backgrounds and stages of life. The group previously discussed Renegade Gospel by Rev. Mike Slaughter and various books of the Bible.

Christian Living for Men

This is an open group focusing on men’s spiritual growth. The group gathers for conversation over breakfast twice a month at the Sunny Street Café on Henderson Road.

College 2 Career 

A mixed group with people of different ages focusing on various topics based on the needs of the group. The group eats together and often utilizes videos for group discussion to help them grow in relationship with God and others.

Come to the Table

There is just something about coming together for a meal, sharing in the laughter and tears of the day and knowing that you are a part of that table's family. Each week we will share a meal together as we study a book and support each other in the trials and triumphs of our daily lives. Our first book will be The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron. Come, eat, laugh, cry and know that you are loved and accepted just as you are.

Engaging the Community

A diverse group of engaged members from various stages of life. Gatherings include book discussions, devotions, prayer and food. This group hopes to serve together both in and outside the church.

Global Young Adults

Open to anyone ages 18 to mid 30s who is looking to grow deeper in relationship with others, the church and Jesus Christ. The group is intentionally international in nature with the purpose of building cross-cultural connections and understanding. Meetings happen in conjunction with weekly Korean Campus Ministry dinner and worship service.

Just a Closer Walk

This group is open to singles and couples who want to expand their knowledge of the Bible and grow as a follower of Christ.

The Old Wise Ones

This group enjoys life together and shares devotions based on sermons and scripture to grow in relationship with each other and Christ. The group previously discussed issues of finance from a biblical perspective. Gatherings always include food!

Prison Ministry

This group began in early 2017 as an outreach to our incarcerated brothers and sisters. The group has a special relationship with the Kindway organization which, using innovative, faith-based programs, assists men and women in their journey from incarceration to independence.

Scripture at the Heart -- Biblical Storytelling 

From Adam and Eve teaching their children to the times of Moses and Elijah, David, Jesus and Peter and Paul to today, we pass on the stories and laws that are important to us through storytelling. Learn how to understand our Scripture, our heritage, our lives through the practice of Contemporary Biblical Storytelling. Each week we will examine ways that the Scripture that will be used during Sunday's sermon can be told, shared and inspired. Perfect for liturgists, children and youth leaders, and anyone who desires to be inspired by the spoken Word of God.

Korean Ministry Cell Groups
