CSCA - Women’s Caucus By-Law revision for your review PLUS Benefit for Milwaukee Women's Center

The Women’s Caucus has discussed at the past two business meetings revising the bylaws to reflect a change in how we distribute award money to top papers and panels in our division. We are allotted $100. In the past we have divided this between the top paper and the top panel, $50 each. The consensus at the business meeting has been that this should be changed to $50 for the top paper and $50 for the top student paper. The top panel will still receive recognition, but no monetary award.

The bylaws require that any changes be distributed to the membership at least 30 days in advance of the business meeting, thus we are distributing them to you now for your review so we may vote on them at our business meeting in Milwaukee.

Please click on the link, Womens Caucus Amernded CSCA Byalws 2014, to review the revised portion of the bylaws. Many thanks to Amy Aldridge Sanford for her assistance in drafting the changes to the document.

See you in Milwaukee!

Co-Chairs, CSCA Women’s Caucus

Benefit for Milwaukee Women's Center

As Vice Chair of the Women's Caucus, I am charged with leaving Milwaukee a better place than when we arrived. This year, we've planned to do it through BEER. On Friday, April 6th, MobCraft Beer (featured on SharkTank) will host 4 tour times for CSCA members, with a portion of each ticket sale benefiting the Milwaukee Women's Center. Each ticket includes a tour and TWO beers. There is also a shuttle option available. So, follow the link below and buy your tickets now!
