CSCA 2023 Convention - Graduate Student Caucus Reminder ... Call for Papers/Reviewers

Greetings Graduate Student Caucus members,

I’m pleased to invite you all to submit and share this call for submissions with your colleagues. The 2023 CSCA conference is going to be held in St. Louis MO. This year we encourage graduate students to embrace the convention theme, Intersections, Transitions, and Silenced Voices. The lives of graduate students are full of copious intersections and transitions that may or may not be fully represented in their teaching, service, or scholarship. In recognition that graduate student voices are often underrepresented and even exploited in academia—submissions that empower the lives and stories of graduate student intersections and transitions in addition to submissions that foreground the voices of marginalized groups and underrepresented scholars are both welcomed and strongly encouraged. Submissions dedicated to service, collaboration, and making a difference regarding networking opportunities are also encouraged.

Submissions must be received by 11:59 PM, CDT, 10/7/2022. You do not need to be a member at the time of submission.

Please CLICK HERE to review the call for papers. I want to encourage all of you to share amongst your colleagues in your departments and the like. We want to encourage as many people to submit as possible.

In order to gather information about our group’s interest (reviewing, submitting etc). I’m also encouraging our members to complete this google form and share amongst colleagues as we are always recruiting people to both submit and review submissions for the conference.
