Actions: Continue publishing symposia in spring issues that aim to give voice to underrepresented groups in CWPA (LGBT+ in 2020, BIPOC in 2021). Develop a diversity statement for the journal by May 2021. Increase efforts to recruit graduate students of color for assistant editor positions in summer 2021. Aim to recruit BIPOC editor(s) for the journal, to assume responsibilities in 2022. Expand the editorial board with a focus on increasing different kinds of representation--already in progress. Additionally, expand the mission of the editorial board to participate in author mentoring--already in progress.
