Gary Auman will present this quarter’s safety update leading off discussing the status of COVID-19 rules and interpretations. He will talk about the new National Emphasis Program and an important issue as some states begin to “open up.” He will also chat about the top ten areas cited by OSHA in 2020 and comments made concerning them from Erin Gilmore, an assistant to Robert Ketchum, the head of OSHA’s construction directorate. Finally, he will cover some points on fork lift safety and the training requirements. The material on forklifts is the result of inquiries from association members in the legal services plans of the associations he represents. As always, he will also provide any new updates he becomes aware of before the webinar.
