100th Anniversary Logo Selected

Congratulations are extended to Anthony Colon, the logo designer!

100th Anniversary Logo Selected

After reviewing 23 outstanding entries, narrowing the nominees to 6, and collecting votes at the ECA convention in Providence, the final logo was selected that will represent ECA's 100th Anniversary.

Congratulations are extended to Anthony Colon, the logo designer, who is a recent Communication graduate from George Mason University. Anthony worked on this design as part of Dr. Cindy Lont's Visual communication class. His winning design was based on "doodling that then became a reality."

100th Anniversary Logo

Anthony is 23 years old. He was born and raised in Virginia Beach and began attending Mason in 2002. While at Mason he concentrated in Media Production and Criticism, and he would like to eventually get into film-making.

We hope that Anthony will attend the 100th Anniversary convention so that he can be publicly recognized. Meanwhile, look for several opportunities in the near future to display this new logo.

Special thanks to members of the Anniversary Committee for help in this selection process: Janette Kenner Muir, Ann Bainbridge Frymier, Jim McCroskey, Jim Chesebro and Linda Lederman.
