ECA Participates in Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago

National Rebuilding Day - Saturday, April 27, 2024.

Last weekend, the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) was proud to sponsor and participate in Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago for National Rebuilding Day on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

National Rebuilding Day: This is the visible culmination of this home repair program and occurs annually around the last Saturday in April. Teams of volunteers mobilize to work in partnership with the community to repair homes and improve neighborhoods of local residents so they may continue to live in warmth, safety, and independence. 

Each year, in preparation for National Rebuilding Day, Rebuilding Together Metro Chicago recruits and trains sponsor teams, identifies and screens homeowner applicants, raises private funds for building materials, and coordinates the logistics of a volunteer effort encompassing over 1,500 people.

National Rebuilding Day is an important event that brings together people from all walks of life to make a positive difference in their communities. ECA is proud to participate in this effort and looks forward to continuing its partnership with Rebuilding Together.
