IACT Green Drives Conference & Expo

The program was held at the IBEW - NECA Technical Institute in Alsip, IL.

On May 9, 2024, Powering Chicago had the privilege of hosting the 2024 Green Drives Conference and Expo at the IBEW—NECA Technical Institute. This fantastic event brought together stakeholders in the renewable energy field to observe the efforts being put forth to reduce emissions in the transportation sector. The Expo showcased new EV technologies, green vehicles and exhibtors, and alternative fuels. 

Illinois Alliance for Clean Transportation (IACT), formerly known as Chicago Area Clean Cities, is one of more than 75 coalitions nationwide affiliated with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Clean Cities program. IACT is a nonprofit coalition focused on promoting cleaner energy for transportation and automotive fleets in Illinois.

Green Drives is one of the largest clean-transportation conferences in the Midwest. It is a must-attend event for government officials, commercial and municipal fleet managers, corporate sustainability officers, and clean-tech and clean-energy professionals who want to learn how to use cleaner, lower-emission fuels and technologies while saving money.
