Powering Chicago - the Labor Management Cooperation Committee of Chicago (LMCC of Chicago) is a proud sponsor of an Illinois IBEW Renewable Energy Fund (IBEW REF) coordinated program called, “Solar & Energy Storage Design & Estimating Course” being presented by Pro Union Consulting.   

The “Solar & Energy Storage Design & Estimating Course" is scheduled as follows:

DATES:            
Thursday, May 6, 2021 – Friday, May 7, 2021.

TIME:               
Both program days include a light breakfast, breaks and lunches.  Each session will begin with a light breakfast at 7:00 am. – 7:30 am.  The initial session will include special introductions beginning at 7:30 am.  Both sessions conclude at 4:00 pm.

PROGRAM CONTENT:
The “Solar & Energy Storage Design & Estimating Course"

Thursday, May 6, 2021 - Friday, May 7, 2021 sessions are to include the following:

  • Give the electrical contractor the confidence to begin designing and estimating photovoltaic and energy storage jobs.

  • Contractors will spend the two days discussing a range of topics that will answer many of the questions an electrical contractor needs to consider to be competitive, and profitable.

  • The seminar segments have been designed to answer the common questions, including:
    Where is the work?
    How do I get it?
    How do I bid it?
    How much money can be made?
  • Sessions also include SolarGraf design software and McCormick estimating software.

  • There will also be time to network with other contractors; working to also have distributors, and developers on site.

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED!

Registration is now open to allow more than one representative per participating signatory Local #134 contractor firm. The $500 Program Fee will be applied to any of these additional signatory registrants. Powering Chicago will cover the Program Fee of $500 for one individual of each participating Local #134 IBEW signatory contractor firm.  Comp Code SOLAR must be used to obtain this fee waiver. 

Registration concludes on April 30, 2021. 

Again, the Powering Chicago Fee Waiver only applies to one individual from participating Local #134 IBEW signatory contractor firms.
