Your personal email account is a treasure trove to fraudsters seeking to take over your accounts—or even worse, your identity.

If you’re like most people, your personal email is regularly used as the primary way to reset passwords. It's not your fault; you've been trained to do so. The fact that you have multiple accounts linked to your personal email, however, heightens the risk associated with this account. Once a hacker has access to your inbox, they can easily reset passwords to any associated account.
