‘I had no idea’: Victim says as Raleigh woman accused of identity theft again

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Five North Carolina hospitals, an assumed identity, and a victim demanding answers.

“There are some days I wake up and I want to fight and some days I want to pretend it’s not happening,” said identity theft victim Jenine Gregory.

Gregory said she just can’t catch a break.

“Something I’ve been doing for 22 years I don’t want to do anymore,” said Gregory.

CBS 17 first reported about Gregory in October 2023.

She performs ultrasounds on patients to help doctors diagnose medical conditions.

Gregory lives in New Jersey with no ties to North Carolina.
