WSFA 12

A jury convicted 44-year-old James Glover on one count of postal theft by an employee and three counts of mail fraud, U.S. Attorney Jonathan S. Ross said Tuesday.

Court records and evidence presented during the trial show that Glover was involved in a fraudulent mail theft and bank fraud scheme. The jury heard testimony that said in September and October of 2022, while working as a mail carrier, Glover stole checks and documents from the mail containing financial information. Those stolen checks were then altered or used to make fraudulent checks, and deposited into bank accounts by Glover and others.
