Springfield PD looking for armed bank robbery suspect

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — An armed bank robbery happened Thursday afternoon in Springfield.
Around 2:00 p.m. the suspect, described as an African American man with a heavier build, entered Volunteer State Bank. The suspect then took out a gun and demanded money from the bank employee, to which he was given an undisclosed amount of cash. He then fled the scene.
