According to a press release from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, on Jan. 7, 2025, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Bloomington Police Department for help in finding 51-year-old Cory Billstrom of Janesville, Wis., who was wanted in connection with a bank robbery that occurred in Bloomington, Minn. There was also an outstanding warrant for Billstrom’s arrest from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. The Bloomington Police Department had information that Billstrom was located near the Village of Wilton. The Wilton Police Department and Monroe County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area.
