Hixson Robbery Suspect In Custody After Returning To Same Bank - 64-Year-Old David Taylor
chattanoogan.com
The Chattanooga Police Department has arrested the suspect connected to a bank robbery and an attempted bank robbery that occurred in Hixson on Saturday.
The same suspect, 64-year-old David Taylor, is also charged with aggravated robbery for another bank robbery committed on Monday morning.
Taylor was taken into custody without incident after returning to one of the banks involved in Saturday’s incidents. During the robbery, Taylor demanded money from tellers while pointing a gun at them. He was identified as the same individual responsible for the previous bank robbery and attempted robbery that occurred over the weekend.
Police said, "The Chattanooga Police Department thanks its media partners for sharing images of the suspect with their audiences. Following that coverage, a community member recognized Taylor and contacted CPD."
