Two wanted for bank fraud in Fort Myers; tried to deposit fake $770k check

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is seeking two suspects in a bank fraud investigation.
According to Crime Stoppers, the Fort Myers Police Department issued a search for the two individuals after the female suspect opened a bank account with a fraudulent ID on Sept. 4.
On Sept. 24, a $768,453.85 check was placed into a bank night drop box by the male suspect to be deposited into a fraudulent account.
Crime Stoppers confirmed that the check was fraudulent.
