WKRN.com
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man accused of making a bomb threat while attempting to rob a bank in the MetroCenter area was arrested Tuesday.
According to arrest documents, officers were called Tuesday to Fifth Third Bank on Rosa Parks Boulevard, where they found Arianz Grant, 36, seated in the lobby with a black bag beside him.
Three employees who were working at the time told officers Grant stumbled into the bank and slid a note to two employees before demanding money. Reports said Grant told the employees multiple times that there was a bomb in his bag, and that he was “just trying to get some money.”
