KGAN/KFXA has an exciting opportunity for a fulltime Multimedia Journalist (MMJ). Your responsibilities as an MMJ will include reporting, shooting and editing news stories, enterprising story ideas, developing contacts, as well as other responsibilities as assigned. You will be expected to produce daily content on a variety of platforms including web, social and mobile phones, in addition to television.

Skills and Requirements:

• Sharp news judgment
• Excellent technical skills
• The ability to work well independently
• Strong shooting and editing technical skills
• Strong social media presence
• The ability to work well independently, as well as with a team
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and a good driving record

Experience:

• Experience with live shots is required
• Experience with Live-U is a plus
• A minimum of 1 year of reporting or photography experience
• Excellent news judgment
• Experience in producing is a plus
• Degree in journalism or a related field is preferred
