The 2018 Spring Conference agenda promises another day of highly informative, valuable information to assist you in your life and job.  FREE MASSAGES TOO!  

• Leading off the day is Scott Ingram (Tilson HR) outlining the essentials for "Combating Workplace Harassment." Scott will tell us how to deal with that difficult person who "upsets the workplace, "what constitutes harassment and how the employer can minimize risk when dealing with harassment situations.

• Patsy Poehler (Visionary Enterprises, Inc.) is back to give us direction on complying with the Life Safety Code. Patsy will list the most commonly cited standards and share a checklist to audit for compliance and maintenance of compliance.
• Kara Newbury (ASCA) is slated to update us on the latest Federal ASC issues affecting your ASC. Kara's expertise interpreting CMS regulations, making them understandable, is laudatory.  

• The IFASC is proud of the IFASC Emergency Preparedness Toolkit (IEPTK) developed for and provided to our members last year.  By member request and to assist you in developing the exercises mandated by CMS Conditions for Coverage (CfC), we have partnered with Vantage Point Consulting's Troy Jester, who leads off the 1st afternoon session by showing us how to design an emergency preparedness exercise as referenced in the IFASC EP Toolkit Appendix #3. 

• In the 2nd afternoon session, Mr. Jester will focus his assist on interpreting the IEPTK by walking us through how to evaluate & document the exercise activity as referenced in IFASC EP Toolkit Appendix #4.
