Member Spotlight:

Matt Sevier, EdD, APRN-BC

We’re proud to shine our spotlight on Matt Sevier, EdD, APRN-BC, an adult health clinical nurse specialist in Nashville, Tennessee, with over 20 years of expertise in home health. He grew up in the nursing home industry and transitioned to home health with the rise of community-based long-term care. His roles have included staff nurse, director of nursing, administrator, regional director of operations, compliance officer, division president, and corporate chief nursing officer; he is a past president of the Tennessee Association for Healthcare Quality and has served in multiple capacities with the Tennessee Association for Home Care, the Tennessee Hospital Association, and the National Association for Healthcare Quality. Currently, he serves as the founder of Perry County Home Health in Linden, Tennessee, and is also an equity partner at Rubicon International, a consulting firm specializing in rural home health development and electronic medical record (EMR) design. Matt is a Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP)-certified consultant and holds the Certificate for OASIS Specialist-Clinical (COS-C) and Home Care Coding Specialist-Diagnosis (HCS-D) designations. Matt is a member of the IHCNO bylaws and finance committees.
