IHCNO is a Member of the International Council of Nurses

The IHCNO is now affiliated with the International Council of Nurses (ICN). The ICN is a federation of more than 140 national nurses’ associations representing the 30 million nurses worldwide. ICN grants affiliate status to international specialist nursing organizations whose mission, mandate, constitution, and objectives are consistent with those of ICN and who have nurses as the majority of their members. ICN works within policy advocacy, global health partnerships, leadership development, expanding networks, and more.

There is no individual membership to ICN. Nurses who are members of IHCNO are now automatically part of ICN. Visit the ICN website at www.icn.ch and explore their resources and news. In our January newsletter we will share more information about benefits to you and how to access the member space on the ICN website.
