HOSPICE ON-CALL / AFTER HOURS NURSE - RN
The On Call/After Hours Nurse - RN is responsible for responding to clinical and non-clinical situations after normal business hours during the evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays by providing skilled nursing assessment, interventions, and supportive care for hospice and home health patients and their families to meet the plan of care for each patient and deliver quality care, ensuring compliance in accordance with company standards and federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
This is a full-time salaried position.
Qualifications
Education
- Current unencumbered license for the state of Ohio to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) required.
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Experience
- Three years experience in acute care, medical-surgical, oncology, or geriatric nursing required.
- Experience in a Medicare-certified home health agency preferred.
- Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and the internet required.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
