IT Manager
Job Summary
The IT Manager supports community network infrastructure, server and PC hardware and software packages. These responsibilities include supporting the administration, monitoring, backup/recovery, problem determination and resolution (break/fix), and general technical support, configuration and maintenance of all systems such as: end user computers, servers, network infrastructure, tape back-up systems, and email systems. The IT Manager will coordinate with outside vendors for repairs such as the phone system and Internet. A positive attitude and great customer service skills are required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Two or Four year degree in computer systems or equivalent experience, minimum 3 years work experience with computer systems, 2 years work experience in a Microsoft network environment (WAN/LAN).
- Hardware and software installation and configuration ability and experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft network operating systems; Knowledge of Windows Server 2012 and Windows Exchange 2013 and other software products as needed.
- Network design and troubleshooting skills along with best practice network security.
- Excellent customer service skills; ability to effectively assist a variety of users with various levels of computer knowledge.
- Good written and oral communication skills
