Friendship Village Columbus is seeking a full-time Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to add to our exceptional team and community. The ADON is responsible for the overall supervision of the STNA’s in the Health Care Center during his/her shift. These duties include, but are not limited to, overseeing all care, assisting in communication with families, directing traffic on the unit, making daily rounds, supervising direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift, administering direct nursing care as necessary, keeping physicians and families aware of changes in resident’s condition, and auditing all new orders to ensure family is aware of change.
Job requirements: At least 3 years of geriatric/rehabilitation experience with a good understanding of restorative nursing, supervisory experience, and a valid RN license in the state of Ohio.
