Friendship Village Columbus is actively seeking a seasoned professional to lead our dining services team as the Director of Food & Beverage.
The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for all areas of dining and food services including overseeing and assuring the efficiency of food preparation and serving for the residents in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Health Center; training and supervising all food services staff; procuring supplies and equipment; overseeing, creating and implementing all menus; planning and preparing meals for parties, banquets, and other special events; preparing budgets and operating within budgetary guidelines; assuring compliance with local, state and federal standards.
Job requirements: Experience in the administration of food services systems preferred. Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or associate’s or higher degree in food service management or hospitality, and ServSafe certification or ability to obtain certification within the first six months of employment.
