Press Release: LeadingAge Ohio Honors Members Receiving Employer of Choice Designation for Workforce Excellence

COLUMBUSLeadingAge Ohio is proud to announce its members who have received an Employer of Choice designation through the 2019-2020 LeadingAge Ohio Employer of Choice program. 23 organizations statewide within LeadingAge Ohio’s over 400 members received a gold, silver, or bronze designation in this third year of the Employer of Choice program. All recipients were recognized during LeadingAge Ohio’s 2019 Annual Conference and Trade Show in August in Columbus.

“Through LeadingAge Ohio’s Employer of Choice program, members can demonstrate that they strive not just to be residences or providers of choice, but to be employers of choice as well,” said LeadingAge Ohio President & CEO Kathryn Brod. “The Employer of Choice designation recognizes our members that are making strides to distinguish their organizations from competitors on metrics related to employee satisfaction, staffing-related outcomes, and other measures of workplace excellence.”

  • 90-Day Turnover;
  • Annual employee retention;
  • Financial strength;
  • and more.

LeadingAge Ohio has worked aggressively to mitigate the effects of a statewide workforce crisis in aging services. Organizations who go above and beyond to recruit, retain, and support their team members are making a difference in ensuring that Ohio’s rapidly growing population of older adults have adequate services and supports.
