About the MAC On-Site Employee Health Screening Program

Over the past few years, the MAC has developed a strong partnership with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. Our latest venture together is a partnership with the Small Business Administration of Michigan (SBAM) on our On-Site Employee Health Screening program.

Free for Michigan businesses – large, medium, and small – a local chiropractor and a nurse conduct an on-site health screening at the requesting company. Employees undergo a posture analysis and learn their BMI, blood pressure, and glucose numbers, as outlined in the State of Michigan’s revolutionary 4x4 Program. The 4x4 program aims to improve the health of Michiganders by making them aware of four key health measures (BMI, blood pressure, cholesterol level, and blood glucose level) and urging them to practice four key healthy behaviors (maintain a healthy diet, engage in regular exercise, get an annual physical examination, and avoid all tobacco use and exposure). At our on-site screenings, employees also receive information on steps they can take to improve their numbers.
