The Michigan Infrastructure Office Technical Assistance Center (MIO TAC) announces the opening of the first Application Window in 2025 for Technical Assistance (TA). Communities awarded technical assistance will get support to apply for federal discretionary grants for local infrastructure projects.
Once again, TAC will provide a suite of resources for attaining federal grants: project readiness analysis, grant identification, grant writing, and grant match funding reservations. 2025 TAC Window 1 is targeting 8 federal discretionary grants to help communities apply for. The Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFO) for the targeted grants is from January 24th, 2025, but may be subject to change. Please refer to grants.gov and other source material for the latest information on NOFOs.
The Michigan Infrastructure Office will be hosting a live virtual session to explain the TA opportunity, the application process, and answer questions. Limited information about the federal grants being targeted will also be presented, but applicants are strongly encouraged to research the opportunities independently.
The webinar will provide an overview of TAC support services and the Window 5 application process. Note: the webinar will be recorded for those that cannot attend the session.
