Death Notice: Kandy W. Chamberlain

We regret to inform you of the death of Kandy W. Chamberlain, mother-in-law of Philip (Kara) Douma, Executive Director of Michigan Funeral Directors Association. Mrs. Chamberlain died on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.

Mrs. Chamberlain is also survived by her husband, Donald; son, Kirk Franklin; step sons, Scott (Rebecca) Chamberlain and Kevin (Kym) Chamberlain; grandchildren, James and Alexander Douma and Whitney Franklin; 8 step grandchildren; sister, Krystal (Tim) Malatinsky; her companion Chihuahua, Mia and several loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 520 E. Mt. Hope Avenue, Lansing, MI. Covid-19 protocol will be followed with mask required and social distancing.

A private family service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021.
