Death Notice: Sandra Joy Steffey

We regret to inform you of the death of Sandra Joy Steffey, mother of Michael Scully, President of Operations for Sharp Funeral Homes in Swartz Creek, Fenton, Linden and Grand Blanc. Mrs. Steffey died on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the age of 78.

Mrs. Steffey is also survived by her children, Daren (Dena) Scully, Terry (Julie) Steffey, Hugh (Liz) Scully, Michael (Jennifer) Scully, Timothy (Stacy) Steffey, Tami (Michael) Csapo, Sean (Michelle) Scully, and Matthew (Donna) Steffey; grandchildren, Collette, Whitney, Ryan, Hannah, Christopher (Alex), Kier, Ian, Elisa (Lionel), Felipe, Bianca, Samuel, Paige, Lauren, Payton (Kyle), Maison (Travis), Seth, Brett, Josh, Eric, Kayla, Brandon, Reagan, and Jack; great grandchildren, Emerson, Noah, Aidan, Lena, Juliette, Sadie, Zane, Xander, and a great grandson  due in May. Sandy will be greatly missed by her dear friend Jim McIntyre. 

Mrs. Steffey was preceded in death by her husband Ron; grandson, Daniel; and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, and 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral Tuesday at the church.  Covid-19 protocol will be followed with mask required and social distancing.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at The Rock Church, 11400 Linden Road, Fenton, MI 48430.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or The Rock Church of Fenton.
