Death Notice: Shirley Mae Hanson

TO MEMBERS OF MFDA

We regret to inform you of the death of Shirley Mae (Logan) Hanson, mother of NFDA Treasurer and MFDA Past President (2013-2014) Douglas "Dutch" (Donna) Nie II, CFSP, CCO, CMFP. Ms. Hanson died on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at the age of 81.

Ms. Hanson is also survived by her children; Tammi (Mark) Marvin, Jody Nie, and Mindy (Mike) Rodger; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 4:00 pm, Sunday, March 27, 2022, at the Nie Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Carpenter Road Chapel, 2400 Carpenter Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48108.
