Medical Billing Specialist

Cancer & Hematology Centers of Western Michigan

General Summary:

Primary responsibility to maintain AR at reasonable ageing as determined by Manager.  Process all insurance correspondence as required, process all claims as needed to insure accurate and timely payment.  Provide Customer Service to patients, third party carriers, physicians and others as needed. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of payer regulations and reimbursement methodologies to provide the best service to all parties, and assure accurate reimbursement.

Job Requirements:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Two years after high school work experience.  Successful completion of Medical Billing Course.
