Be on the lookout for the latest American Medical Association (AMA) Relative Value Check Your Inbox for the American Medical Association Survey!Scale Update Committee (RUC) survey of infusion, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous injection codes. If you are selected, we need your assistance to ensure the relative value units (RVUs) are accurately and fairly presented to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). CMS relies on the specialty societies and RUC’s recommendations as a basis for setting payment levels for physician services. The more data we receive, the more compelling our society recommendations will be to the RUC and ultimately Medicare. The e-mail will come from noreply@qemailserver.com.
