CMS Releases 340B Drug Acquisition Cost Survey, Responses Due May 15, 2020

After receiving approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) on April 23, 2020, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released a survey on April 24, 2020, to collect information on 340B hospitals’ net acquisition costs for 340B-purchased drugs. CMS announced on its Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) webpage that the survey is available through May 15, 2020, in spite of requests by hospitals and hospital groups to delay the survey’s implementation because of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) emergency.  READ MORE
