In 2022, Massachusetts-based McGill Hose and Coupling is celebrating its 60th year in business fabricating and distributing some of the highest quality products in the hose and coupling industry.
The company, originally named H.A. McGill Company, was founded in 1962 by Harry A. McGill. His expertise and vision immediately established the company as a specialized fabricator of metal and PTFE assemblies who serviced their customers and worked with them to solve their problems.
As their reputation grew, so did the company. Additional product lines were added, and quality manufacturers who respected McGill’s approach to customer satisfaction and proper product selection made their products and expertise available to the company.
In 1965 with an eye to the future, the company name was changed to McGill Hose & Coupling, Inc. to better define the company in the marketplace. Even though the name changed, McGill Hose & Coupling, Inc. continued to maintain the same customer-driven philosophy by providing the best possible product for each-and-every application.
In 1985 Harry C. McGill purchased the company from his father and became president. To this day, he has successfully worked to continue the company’s growth trajectory.
Today, led by the third- generation son and daughter team of Alex and Ainsley, McGill Hose & Coupling, Inc. has grown to three modern facilities and over 60 employees in East Longmeadow and Woburn, Massachusetts and East Providence, Rhode Island. Most recently, they have moved its headquarters to an 85,000-square-foot facility featuring improved warehouse, fabrication, and office spaces. Despite this growth, the commitment to quality and service has remained intact in every custom fabricated hose assembly they create.
As McGill Hose & Coupling, Inc. looks to the future, they are committed to providing the best possible product to their customers, knowing that as their customers technologies change, so must they.
