NAHAD’s Hose Safety Institute recently introduced the Hose Design Factors Whitepaper, the third in a series of whitepapers addressing hose assembly safety.

Hose assembly fabricators and users of hose assemblies need a clear understanding of what they are specifying and purchasing and how those products will perform. The Hose Design Factors Whitepaper provides clear guidance on the proper role of hose design factors in the design, specification, fabrication and testing of subsequent hose assemblies and what can safely be expected for assembly usage. The Whitepaper has been reviewed and approved by NAHAD’s Standards Committee and ARPM – Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers.
The Hose Safety Institute whitepaper process is intended to provide a forum for discussion of key issues in hose assembly safety. Contributing companies include NAHAD manufacturer and distributor members, as well as Institute Advisory Council members who represent end-users in key industries with a vested interest in hose safety.
