Amazon Hose and Rubber Company Completes the Acquisition of The Hose Connection

Amazon Hose & Rubber Company, a leading provider of Industrial and Hydraulic hoses and fittings today completed the purchase of The Hose Connection in Riviera Beach, Florida. This acquisition will bring together two of Florida’s oldest hose fabrication companies. It will allow Amazon Hose to expand its product offering to a new customer base in Palm Beach County and surrounding markets.

The purchase of The Hose Connection further increases Amazon Hose’s share of the Florida market. “The combination of Hose Connection’s market presence in Palm Beach County and our outside sales and counter business expertise, will provide our Palm Beach County customers with more product choices and custom hose fabrication,” said Jim Donlin, President of Amazon Hose. “This acquisition is also expected to result in greater efficiencies and significantly increase our market share,” added Donlin.

Amazon Hose will continue to operate out of The Hose Connection’s current 9,000 sf location at 6753 Garden Road, Riviera Beach Fl, to create their fifth, Continental Hose Service Center. Amazon Hose is part of Continental’s “Elite” Distributor Program. Continental ContiTech develops and produces a broad spectrum of products, encompassing hoses and hose lines for the crude oil and natural gas extraction industry, the food industry, water management, chemical/petrochemical industry, mining industry, mechanical engineering and other important sectors. Amazon Has been a Continental Contitech distributor for over 50 years, of our 102-year history.

Amazon Hose will combine their market knowledge with The Hose Connection’s existing market knowledge and hose expertise to provide our customers with continued excellent service. The integration of both companies will take place over the next several months. “Amazon will increase stock levels on all core Hydraulic and Industrial products so our clients will continue to receive the same high-quality customer service they have come to expect,” said Jim Donlin, President of Amazon Hose.
