Remarkable NAHAD Member Companies Use Data-Driven Strategies

CONGRATULATIONS! Those NAHAD members who participated in the August survey received the monthly NAHAD Industry Trends Report earlier in the week.

In 2006, Jim Collins, bestselling author of Good to Great and Built to Last, served as a consultant on a publication of ASAE (the American Society of Association Executives) entitled the Seven Measures of Success. A key point made in the book is that to become remarkable - an organization (company) needs to "gather information, analyze it, and then use it to become better. Research - whether quantitative or qualitative, formal or anecdotal - is always put to use, not put on the shelf." Data driven strategies are formulated by a methodical, disciplined cycle of gathering, analyzing and making changes as the result of constant review and refinement.

As of last month, only those NAHAD members who participate in the survey will receive the monthly Report. So, if you did not receive the Report, be sure to fill out your survey next month!

If you have questions about this program, or need information on how to participate, please contact Molly Thompson (mthompson@nahad.org).  We welcome any and all feedback.
