The Joan Arslanian / Philip Varughese Inspiration Scholarship

We all have that one colleague who makes it a little easier to come to work every day, the one who always has time to answer your questions, and who is so encouraging to the people around them. It can be difficult to find a meaningful way to show your appreciation for that person, but NANT is here to help! We are now accepting nominations for the new Joan Arslanian / Philip Varughese Inspiration Scholarship. 

This scholarship will go to an individual who motivates the people around them to be the best versions of themselves every day, inside and outside the workplace. The winner of this award will receive complimentary registration** for DTX42 (1 - 4 April 2025) and 3 nights** at  Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, NV during the conference.

Take a moment to think about who that person is to you in your unit, and submit your nomination application today!  A special thanks to Philip Varughese for establishing and funding this scholarship in memory of Joan Arslanian, who made many educational contributions to NANT over the years. Criteria:

For an individual who serves as an inspiration to their colleagues.  This award is not limited to technicians but rather to any individual in dialysis who qualifies and wants to participate (either virtually or in person) in the only conference planned BY technicians FOR technicians.

This is not an award for self-nomination – rather, the individual must be nominated by a colleague, supervisor, or mentor.

**Participation will include registration fees and 3 nights at the conference hotel.
