TV Broadcast Technician (Part-time)

Person needed to perform duties in the area of news production; audio board operations, audio set up, studio set-up, and other video production associated duties. The Broadcast Technician must be able to follow instructions of the producer/director to operate camera as necessary to obtain desired shots and audio mixes; suggest desirable shots to producer/director. Will operate teleprompter system as needed; assist in lighting; studio lighting experience using light meter necessary. This individual will assist in the set-up and tear-down of equipment; sweep, clean, and pick up trash from studio, scene, and work areas as required.

The successful candidate must have good written and verbal communication skills; be able to work first, second, and third shift as needed, and have good, quick decision-making abilities. This is a part time position, approximately 25 hours per week. Two years of previous work experience required; a college degree preferred.
