JOB DESCRIPTION
WFMY, a TEGNA Company, has an exciting opportunity for a talented Digital Sales Specialist to join our dynamic and forward-thinking sales team. The ideal candidate will work with the Digital Sales Manager to strategically oversee all digital advertising campaigns including, but not limited to, front-end research, order entry, creative management, campaign optimization, and post-sale activity. The successful candidate will be able to execute a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the startup process of all digital campaigns.
- Monitor all digital campaigns pacing and effectiveness to ensure campaign delivery
- Execute creative development for all digital advertising
- Assist the sales team as needed with developing creative multimedia recommendations that meet customer’s needs, goals, and expectations
- Report monthly metrics and campaign results to the account executives and assist account executives in interpreting the results to the client
- Assist in growth and retention of digital revenue by proactively finding opportunities to optimize campaign performance
- Educate clients and staff on effective marketing strategies and revenue growth tactics that utilize our digital product suite
- Monitor competitive media trends to identify opportunities to increase market share
- Attend sales calls when necessary as a digital expert on our product offerings
- Possess careful attention to detail
- Other duties as assigned by Digital Sales Manager

Requirements:
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Familiar with SEM, SEO, targeted display, website development, mobile & video marketing strategies
- Experience in effective social media posting and strategies
- Must possess a winning attitude, great energy, and enthusiasm for their craft
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple assignments and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team-oriented environment
- Previous Internet Sales/Support experience preferred
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe
- Proven track record of exceeding expectations
