WCTI/WYDO NewsChannel 12 the ABC/FOX affiliate in New Bern, North Carolina has an exciting opportunity for a Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter! Your responsibilities as a Weekend Sports Anchor/Reporter will include anchoring our weekend sportscast and co-anchoring our weekly high school football show "The Blitz". In addition, you will be reporting, shooting and editing stories about local high school teams, East Carolina University, the state's ACC teams as well as other responsibilities as assigned. You will be expected to produce daily content on a variety of platforms including the internet, social networking sites and mobile phones, in addition to television.

• 4-year college degree, preferably with an emphasis in journalism/mass communications/sports or equivalent professional work experience
• Must be able to shoot, write, and edit your own material
• Must have and maintain a good driving record
• Must be available to work night, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift and carry 30 pounds
• Television experience through professional work or internships is preferred
• Ability to demonstrate enterprise sports reporting and creativity in story-telling
• Ability to tell sports stories in a way non-sports people find interesting
• Experience with Edius, Avid, iNews, and LiveU are a plus
