Details:
Nexstar's WNCT-TV, seeks a full-time Broadcast Engineer. Candidate must have 3 years experience in network affiliated commercial on-air television switching, experience in TV Broadcast equipment operations and maintenance, satellite receiver systems, automation systems, experience in Windows O.S. Candidate will serve as final quality check of audio and visual levels. Management reserves the discretion to add or modify job duties as required. Must be a self-starter, hard worker, have a great attitude, customer service skills and be versatile and efficient and must be able to work all hours and days with physical requirements as follows: standing, walking, seeing, hearing, computer use and sitting. |
Experience:
3 years experience in network affiliated commercial on-air television broadcasting. Experience in digital broadcast equipment operation, maintenance and repair. Knowledge of Window based programs. Television digital transmitter maintenance and repair experience a plus. |
Requirements:
Serve as final quality check of audio and visual levels. Physical requirements: standing, walking, seeing, hearing, computer use, sitting. Must have valid drivers license. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to ever-changing news requirements. Must have the ability to work effectively with other team members. Self starter works independently. Ability to respond to maintenance requests submitted by local staff and corporate support members. Ability to be on call 24/7/365. |
