WNCT-TV is seeking a full time Production Technician to help with the preparation of newscasts including production of pre-recorded elements, studio set up and floor directing, assisting with publishing web site content. Other duties may include back-up for the media content manager. Skills required are general television production and computer skills. Master Control operation experience is helpful but not required.
Web site related duties include: encoding, editing, and uploading of various web elements throughout the day. Media manager backup. Ingest content from tape and video servers into playback system. Time programs for automated playback system. Check and adjust broadcast air schedule (electronic log) as needed.
