The WNCT Marketing Department is looking for a Producer to help launch a new lifestyle show for Eastern North Carolina.. You'll be working on the new show, helping create segments, writing, coordination shoots with the videographer on segments in the field and in the studio. This may include scheduling segments, writing scripts, creating graphics, editing video, assisting in studio production and researching topics. Occasional travel around the Greenville marketing in Eastern North Carolina. Assist at station sponsored events. Experience:
Ideally, you should have a couple years of producing experience, but we'll also look at driven self starters who understand TV production and know Creative Cloud. Lifting of cameras and lighting equipment for shoots required.
Requirements:
Software: Adobe Creative Cloud; Premiere; After Effects; Audition and Photoshop.
Hardware: DSLR Cameras
We need a driven, focused and creative producer who wants to make a positive creative impact. Solid writing skills, ability to work well under tight deadlines, strong communication skills, understanding of timing, working with sales on a sponsored content and ability to come up with great creative ideas to make this a one of a kind show. You must be able to work independently and work on multiple projects with a deadline. You need to be a team player who can share our ideas and incorporate others into projects you are working on while never losing site of the goal to bring viewers to WNCT. 4 year college degree in journalism, marketing, production or related field or a combination of technical training and experienced required. 2 years of experience in video production, News producing, advertising or journalism preferred. Background check is required.
