NCDA PRESENTS THE NATIONAL CAREER DEVELOPMENT GUIDELINES (NCDG)

NCDA’S HARRIS POLL ON PERCEPTIONS OF WORKING AMERICA:

The NCDA commissioned a national survey entitled "Perceptions of Working America", performed in conjunction with Harris Interactive. The poll assessed the perceptions of today’s workforce on the effectiveness of career specialists, the need for expanded workforce training opportunities, and the hardships implicit in selecting, changing, or getting a job in the current economic climate. NCDA SUPPORTS EVIDENCE-BASED CAREER INTERVENTIONS:

In this literature meta-analysis journal article, five intervention ingredients were identified and were individually associated with career choice outcome, and collectively were linearly related to increases in career choice effect sizes. (More on Career Interventions)
