Nominations for the Board of Trustees due March 1

NCDA Nominations and Elections Committee seeks

Members for upcoming Board Vacancies

The NCDA Nominations and Elections Committee is seeking interested members to serve on the NCDA Board of Directors. The openings for this coming year include:

President-Elect-Elect (4-year term to start October 1, 2017 and end September 30, 2021; Presidential Term will be in FY 2019-20)

Secretary (3-year term to start October 1, 2017 and end September 30, 2020)

Trustee: School Career Counselors and Specialists (3-year term to start October 1, 2017 and end September 30, 2020)

Trustee: Higher Education Career Counselor and Specialists (3-year term to start October 1, 2017 and end September 30, 2020)

Descriptions of those positions are provided in the NCDA Policy and Procedures Manual (see Sections II & III, pages 11-24)

For those interested in the President-Elect-Elect position, see the attached description of the Qualifications & Requirements for Presidents. 

Those interested should complete a  Nominations Application Form by March 1, 2017 for consideration. Questions can be referred to Cynthia Marco-Scanlon, Past President and Chair of the Nominations and Elections Committee, at cmarco@jcu.edu.

The Nominations and Elections Committee will create the final slate of candidates and the NCDA Board will approve by March 27, 2017. You will be notified at that time for future instructions.
