Has anyone been in contact with 1199 about there significant reduction in fees for L3000 this year?
Based on the location of your practice, you should contact provider relations at 1199 and get additional information on why the reimbursement for L3000 decreased. It seems that the reduction may be related to a contract specific change or renewal in order to be a participating provider. It may be different for each provider, based on when they are due to renew their contract and the fee schedule that is accompanied with it. When calling to inquire, obtain as many EOBs as possible before and after the fee reduction so the insurance could give a clear answer to the decrease in reimbursement.
